Soup of the day or starter of day.

1. Boeuf Bourguignon
Classic French beef stew, heavy on the red wine and garlic, and laced with thyme
Accompanied by mashed potatoes, greens


2. Roast Chicken
Very fresh mountaintop free range chicken, roasted with lemon and herbs
Accompanied by roast potatoes, greens, carrots, bread sauce, gravy


3. Roast Pork
Local pork roasted with garlic and sage, and crisp crackling.
Accompanied by roast potatoes, greens, carrots, apple sauce, gravy


4. Pork Stroganoff a la Moganshan
Pork and peppers in a white wine and cream sauce, chillies optional
Accompanied by plain rice or mashed potatoes


5. Beef Curry
The Lodge’s local curry with Mongolian beef
Accompanied by the Lodge’s Pilau rice


6. Fish Pie
Traditional English style fish pie, studded with prawns and speckled with parsley
Accompanied by green peas

Puddings
Rich chocolate mousse, cakes (with cream), Treacle Tart,
Lemon Omelet Souffle, Moganshan fruit salad, Apple Crumble
